Q: How would you describe your personal style?

A: I’d like to be able to say my style is pared back, however when I look through my wardrobe what’s reflected back at me is a deep love of bold colours and volume - especially in the sleeves department!

Q: Has your attitude towards dressing for work changed since you’ve been working from home?

A: Yes. I don’t think I’ve worn a suit or high heels in months! I still get dressed for work in the mornings, although this is sometimes intermingled with a couple of days in comfy sweats. Maintaining my morning routine has definitely had a positive effect on my mental state.

“I will always have an appreciation for good tailoring and clean lines. I love the structure this lends itself to”

Q: Do you usually have a workwear uniform or any go-to pieces that always make you make you feel ready to take on the day?

A: Increasingly I’ve been trying to find a happy balance between my work wardrobe and what I wear in my downtime. I think I’m getting closer in the that I’m increasingly able to blend the two and interchange pieces more easily. Having said that, I will always have an appreciation for good tailoring and clean lines. I love the structure this lends itself to.

Q: Do you think the way that clothes make you feel is important?

A: I think clothes are a vital tool of self-expression for a lot of people, myself included. They help amplify who I am and how I’d like to be received by the world. My confidence levels are intrinsically linked to how I look and present myself and I don’t think that’s a bad thing. In these past few weeks I’ve definitely found myself putting on a great dress to lift my mood and it’s done wonders for my happiness factor.

Q: Why did you choose these particular Jigsaw pieces?

A: I felt that these two outfits spoke to both sides of me; the dress is feminine, floaty and soft (and there was a lot of appreciation for the sleeves, obviously), while the tailored culottes and shirt play into the more structured side of me, my career.
