Art and maths, two seemingly different worlds, happily collide in our direction for Spring Summer 17. Based on two mathematical formulas, the precision of the Golden Ratio against the anarchy of Chaos Theory have been translated into two contrasting stories. Meet Order and Chaos.
Clean lines, straight hems and V-necklines make up a wardrobe of perfectly proportioned pieces, where every cuff, collar and sleeve has been cut to precision. Piqués, fine textures, ribbed knits and colour blocking blend in soft shades of pearl, raspberry sorbet and ash pink, against cooler tones of navy, sand and blue smoke. Fabric innovation comes in the form of seersucker: a wrinkled, textile classic reinvented for a modern working wardrobe.
In contrast, slubby textures and raw fibres create a lived-in, casual aesthetic of easy trousers, wide-leg rolled jeans, slouchy knits and relaxed summer suiting in citron, chalk grey, golden olive and morning sky. Two parallel stories that define and direct the season ahead.
