CELESTIAL PALETTE
A graduate of London’s Royal College of Art and winner of the Harriet’s Trust Award for Craftmanship, Ellen takes an organic and holistic approach Ellen takes an organic and holistic approach creating prints using naturally dyed inks and organic powered dyes. For the collection, Ellen experimented with saffron to create the vivid orange tones visible in each piece.
Natural Alignment
Influenced by nature, Ellen took inspiration from Oxfordshire summers; dappled sunlight, fields of wild flowers and beautiful bright tones. Jigsaw’s Creative Director, Jo Sykes was drawn to and excited by Ellen’s creating process, which is totally natural and spontaneous, meaning that each design has a totally unique pattern.
