Created by university lecturers Derek Wiafe and Adrian Wood and supported by the University of the Arts Knowledge Exchange
Fund, Contentlab focusses on reshaping artistic partnerships and highlighting graduate creativity, particularly with students from
under-represented backgrounds. For this project, groups presented their stance on Jigsaw’s current seasonal pieces.

Utility Separates
We wanted the customer to take a journey from utilitarian city life to a farm-setting that embodies nature and nourishment. It is within this setting that she finds introspection and can take the time for self-care.

Summer Linens
We focussed on the detailed floral embroidery of the linen pieces and created a simple, calm and relaxed setting to emphasise linen as a natural material.

Animal Prints
We created an urban jungle by photographing vivid animal prints within an old cinema. Natural green wilderness is replaced by dated green velvet chairs, creating a sense of 70’s nostalgia that ties in with Jigsaw’s era of establishment.

Vivid Florals
Our group was inspired by nature and the excitement new possibilities. Plants are central in our imagery as a symbol of rebirth and rejuvenation. We chose to focus on foliage in vessels as a means of carrying hope and optimism forward into the rest of the year.
