The Designer
We approached Lydia Hannon, a specialist in the luxury
accessories sector, with the brief to design an iconic collection
of forever handbags for Jigsaw, inspired by our heritage
and in celebration of the finest craftsmanship.
Lydia has extensive experience collaborating with brands
to establish and evolve their accessories handwriting.
She has an extensive knowledge and long-standing
relationships with the finest craftsmen, factories and
materials. Her background includes working with Burberry,
Jimmy Choo and Smythson.
Lydia’s appreciation for contemporary and considered
design is evident throughout her work, and runs throughout
her collection for Jigsaw. Her passion for the artisanal
process, attention to detail and craftsmanship combine
to create modern classics.

Q: What inspired the collection?
For me, Jigsaw has always been a brand offering paired back, timeless wardrobe staples with a twist, essentially, it's a very British brand. When I was approached about working on the collection, I wanted these elements to come through and to really tell the story of the brand; combining craftsmanship with modernity to create a collection of everyday wearable pieces.
Quality and craftsmanship remains at the heart of our sourcing and material. We responsibly source our leathers from accredited tanneries that comply with the REACH industry standard, ensuring a high level of protection to both human and environmental health. All of the leathers used are a bi-product of the food industry to minimise waste. The 100% vegetable tanned leathers used for this collection are made with natural colourings, giving them the rich tones and finish that will become more beautiful with age. These leathers are free from harmful chemicals and tanned in bronze rated factory.

Large soft slouch bag in luxurious suede, with engraved detailing and a pure cotton lining. Features a magnet closure, internal zipped back pocket and flat front facing pocket for easy access. The ample interior space makes it the perfect style for all-day outings.
Ava Pebble Leather Crossbody Bag
Soft twist on the classic structured silhouette, a crossbody sadle bag in pebble leather. Designed to be worn across the body or on the shoulder, the adjustable strap is adorned with classic gold finish hardwear. Fastened with zip closure and oversized knotted leather puller. The cotton twill lined interior offers plenty of space for your phone, cardholder and keys.

The accordion bag arrives in statement-coloured leather. Designed in a structured silhouette, with two compartments and adjustable straps. A surprisingly versatile shape that can be worn across the body or on the shoulder.
Melbury Leather Soft Bag
Soft slouch shoulder bag in natural grain leather. The practical style features functional zip closure and adjustable strap, trimmed with 100% vegetable tanned leather. Lined with cotton fabric, the interior features a flat back pocket for organising your essentials.
