At Home With Emma Paton
#JigsawAtHome with Emma Paton
Emma Paton lives with her husband and two kids in a small village in rural Suffolk. Having relocated from Hackney last year, her family are readjusting to life outside of the city. Previously having worked in Fashion Buying, Emma now runs a successful fashion and lifestyle blog and Instagram account @Finlay_Fox. She has a real passion in showcasing new brands, mixing high-street with vintage and giving women confidence in how to dress stylishly and confidently regardless of age, size or budget.
Q: How would you describe your personal style?
A: I would say my personal style is colourful, comfortable and happy. If I stick to this mantra every day then I know I’ll feel confident. My style is influenced by an eclectic mix of boho, retro and vintage and print is really important to me.
Q: How has your style evolved over the years?
A: I have definitely worked out what suits me and my body shape over the years and now know what makes me feel good. Less skinny jeans and more dresses and jumpsuits! I’m much better at buying less but buying better these days. I have to really think how much wear I will get out of a style, that it has longevity and it works with other pieces in my wardrobe.

Q: Why did you choose these particular Jigsaw pieces?
A: As soon as I saw the Linen Viscose Pin Check Dress I knew it was a shape that would be flattering on me. It has a nice nod to the prairie trend without being too obvious and feels fairly classic - a style that can be pulled out year after year. I’ll wear this with tan knee high boots in the Autumn and a polo neck layered underneath when it gets really cold.
The bright Aegean blue colour of the Relaxed Linen Jumpsuit drew me to it! Without any holidays on the horizon it’s a style and colour that makes me feel happy and I can pretend I’m in Greece! It’s a really comfy fit and works with sandals and trainers. Again I could layer a little tee under it on a cooler day.

Q: As a former fashion buyer, your weekly Sunday Wishlist is always a success on your blog. What pieces from Jigsaw would you put on your Sunday Wishlist?
A: My Sunday Wishlist pieces would be:
“ love the idea of wearing something like this over swimwear, super stylish and great for a UK staycation where it is often cooler.”
“This is a style that would work well now and into Autumn and I’m always a fan of a check and an easy chuck on shape.”
“I’m a big fan of cheesecloth fabric and this co-ord looks so comfortable and chic.”
