London Fashion Week has once again left us with an overload of trends to mull over the summer months and plenty of fashion week looks to emulate in the meantime. This season we saw a definite continuation of bright outerwear pervading the pavement with the pink coat craze still in full swing. The looks were paired back with less ostentatious layering (even from the blogging crowd) in favour of cleaner, more elegant style. We bring some of our favourite looks from the fashion week festivities.
Victoria Törnegren is among Sweden’s five elite bloggers to be nurtured by I’m Next. On the first day of LFW, the weather may have dampened spirits, but Victoria embraced the blue in our Blue Melton Coat, relaxed boyfriend denim, white T-shirt and black courts. She was papped by several leading fashion publications including Elle, Cosmopolitan and Grazia and led the pack of optimistic colour block coats seen throughout the week. (photo by Rami Hanna)
Lucia Grace is the blogger behind Style Confessional who also exemplifies the colour blocking trend. Her clean, minimal styling allows the colour do the talking. (Bag envy ensues.)
Camille is student at the brand new Condé Nast’s new College of Fashion & Design. We caught her perusing the streets for style herself and admired her paired back leather jacket and sequin trousers.
These two hit the streets of LFW in a full-on assault against ‘fashion black’. Unafraid of injecting a little bit of whimsical fun back into the London fashion scene, they made a refreshingly colourful pair. Our directional Orange Llama Coat is featured on the left and is a light, ultra-soft layer that is ideal for this time of year.
Kim was simply ticking all of our boxes — luxe pastel coat, floral dress and statement necklace. Check. We’re also in love with her neatly wrapped plaits. It’s an easy hair-up option that instantly adds a bit of glam to any look.
There was no doubt that denim turn-ups and colour block heels were an overriding trend seen at the shows this week. Our Jane Suede Court Shoes provide a perfect opportunity to help kick start this spring’s freshest look. Worn with our Hampton Boyfriend Jeans, they are ideal purchases to carry you through the spring/summer season in style.
Klaudia is a blogger who kept her outfit tones neutral, but paired it with her powdery blue bag and khaki patent shoes. Her 3/4 sleeve coat was certainly an envious shape around Somerset House — resembling our fashion week favourite, the Audrey Coat. The clean line and forgiving cocoon shape are suited to any woman looking to inject a little trend into their spring wardrobe.
