We are looking for a Product Licencing Coordinator to work across licensed product areas as key contact internally and externally, liaising with professionals on all levels.

Successful candidates will have a real interest in lifestyle brands and have experience working within a retail environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to make a significant contribution to the growth of a successful British Heritage Brand.

  • Daily communication as Jigsaw representative, having a thorough knowledge of the brand and licensed product areas with strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external colleagues.
  • Responsible for developing licensed product; sunglasses, optical, women’s apparel, home and tech accessories, underneath the guidance of Licensing & Business Development Director.
  • Critical path management.
  • Maintaining brand identity and values with knowledge of the core target customer as well as having commercial awareness for the wider market.
  • Negotiating extensively with licence partners to facilitate the achievement of target costs and margins.
  • Monitoring and reacting to sales.
  • Working collaboratively with the Brand Creative, Marketing, Buying, Legal and Finance departments.
  • Reporting to and assisting Licensing & Business Development Director on all aspects of the day-to-day running of the licensing department.

To develop, drive and implement the PR Strategy. To oversee promotional activities for the Jigsaw and Bluebird brands including planning seasonal strategies, new product launches, press events, and internal communications. To develop close relationships with the brand and product teams (Marketing, Visual, Merchandising, Design, and Retail) and external media/press/opinion formers to support brand exposure and the growth of the business.   • Develop strategic communications across the Jigsaw Group inc The Shop at Bluebird.
  • Liaise with marketing and social media team, ensuring content is in line with press strategy.
  • Lead the critical path and be a key point of contact with Press and Opinion Formers.
  • Build great relationship with wider Marketing Team to support press coverage, customer events and brand initiatives.
  • Ensure complete understanding of the collections and products being promoted / ‘pushed’ and creatively translates the strategy to ensure it is delivered.
  • Oversee seasonal/ad hoc press releases and generates ideas for creative press content.
  • Creation of a press/marketing calendar for the brand with flexibility for creative/ trend response.
  • Develops seasonal promotional gift ideas / brand extensions for marketing / press events e.g. Christmas.
  • Develop and garner relationships with all International Partners

We are looking for a Brand Intern to work with and support our fantastic creative team for a one year internship (we will consider two six month placements depending on the candidate). In 2008 Jigsaw embarked on a journey to implement MS Dynamics NAV and today supports over 200 users/devices spanning Finance, Payroll, Merchandising, Warehousing, Stock Control and Point of Sale. We are currently operating MS Dynamics NAV 2009 Classic on a Windows Server 2003 / SQL Server 2005 platform but have exciting plans to upgrade to 2013 RTC, Windows Server 2012 and SQL 2014 over the next 18 months and so there’s no shortage of things to do.

  • Simply put, the aim of this role is to help the business & our users to get the most out of our MS Dynamics NAV system and includes the following key responsibilities:
  • System Administration
  • Monitor & report on system performance
  • Check scheduled & EDI services are running successfully
  • System Support
  • Map, optimise & document operational system processes
  • Train & deliver 1st level MS Dynamics NAV support to head office & remote users
  • Log & progress 2nd level support issues with Simark
  • System Development
  • Interpret user requirements & convert to technical development specifications
  • Prioritise requests in accordance with business objectives & cost benefit
  • Undertake beta testing and support User Acceptance Testing

We are looking for a Merchandiser to manage the day to day merchandising functions for our Accessories and Junior lines. In this role you will be integral in planning and developing a strategy to produce a range that delivers Jigsaw’s sales budget and profit target. You will take responsible for ensuring that products appear in the right store at the appropriate time in the correct quantities and work closely with the buying team to deliver a balanced range. Successful candidates will have a real interest in Fashion and may even be working within a retail environment already. Above all we need someone who is great at what they do and who can work well as part of a vibrant team to achieve all deadlines.

  • Planning Product Ranges and preparing stock and sales plans in conjunction with the Buying and Product Directors.
  • Present and talk through product performance in Trade Meetings.
  • Option planning , Grading and Buy Quantities
  • Update WSSI's.
  • Manage Line Cards on Essential Styles
  • Maintain a comprehensive Library of analysis data (including but not limited to stock and sales, markdowns and promotions).
  • Oversee the Buy Budget and manage OTB

  • Competitor Analysis – regular store visits to help influence the range
  • Ensure trading on relevant covers and phasing intake appropriately
