We are looking for a PR Assistant to promote and protect the Jigsaw and Shop at Bluebird brands at all times. Seizing opportunities where they arise being both reactive and proactive.   • Support the Head of Press and PR Manager with the development of the strategic brand proposition
  • Ensure the creation of appropriate press communications

  • Write and distribute press releases as briefed by Head of Press
  • Responsible for all reactive and proactive media enquiries whether for information, samples or product images. Working with newspapers, journals, magazines and e-bulletins both nationally and internationally. These to be handled in a timely fashion
  • Respond quickly to news and ensure excellent written communication for reports, speeches and articles
  • Liaise with buying department to source samples for journalists
  • Maintain the journalist and blogger database
  • Arrange deliveries to journalists and contact to follow up as appropriate

HQ113 Junior Digital Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Junior Digital Graphic Designer to work with the E-commerce and Graphic Design teams on the design and development of the Jigsaw brand and The Shop at Bluebird. The person in this role will be responsible for assisting and maintaining assets and styling across the site to ensure consistency. The role is heavily weighted to digital design, however the ideal candidate would be comfortable crossing over with the Graphic Print Designer assisting on some design for print when required.

Successful candidates will have a real interest in Fashion and may even be working within a retail environment already. Above all we need someone who is great at what they do and who can work well as part of a vibrant team to achieve all deadlines.

  • Work as part of the Brand Creative Team alongside other web designers, assisting on the design of editorial features, emails and other design work for The Jigsaw Group
  • Design and creation of affiliate and onsite banners
  • Design and creation of marketing emails
  • Crop and artwork images where necessary
  • Liaise with other departments within the company to supply and adapt design work for social media and other uses
  • Create mobile and multi-device friendly content for all of the above
  • Responsible for assisting the Digital Graphic Designer with the maintenance and creation of regularly changing on-site graphics and imagery

HQ111 Sample Machinist

We are currently looking for a Sample Machinist to join our Production team. This role will involve working with pattern cutters, designers and garment technicians to produce high quality samples.

The ideal candidate will have substantial previous experience in a similar role. You should be passionate about clothes, be able to work with a range of products and have exceptional team working skills. The candidate must be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise.

  • To accurately assemble samples and toiles
  • To provide feedback to pattern cutters on accuracy of patterns and paperwork; to offer feedback on viability of styling, finish and manufacture in line with Jigsaw standards of quality
  • To meet deadlines where specified, to inform line manager or senior pattern cutter where this is not possible
  • To communicate fabric issues to the relevant person or department
  • To ensure that necessary trims are well stocked; to communicate shortages when necessary
  • To keep work station clean, tidy and well organised

This is a varied role and it is key you can build relationships internally and be proactive in ensuring the customer gets what they need. As Customer Services Manager you will take responsibility for the teams operation during defined periods. You should be a bright, enthusiastic, articulate and proactive person to join our team as the online business grows forward.

  • Answering and handling customer calls
  • Dealing with customer emails
  • Placing customer orders and advising customers on products
  • Working with fulfilment teams to resolve problem orders
  • Dealing with Royal Mail on queries and lost parcels
  • Checking the website and being proactive in suggesting improvements
  • Basic fraud checks
  • Issue vouchers, VAT refunds, order refunds, exchanges and gifts as appropriate

We are currently looking for a Buy Admin Assistant to join our Accessories team. This role will provide administration support to the Buying function by managing the purchase order system, critical path and product management and storage. The role largely focuses on setting up styles within Dynamics, ensuring product information, tickets and prices are correct.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in buying as well as previous hands on buying and/or retail experience. You should have strong analytical, numerical and IT skills as well as exceptional team working skills. The candidate must be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise.

  • Create product style numbers with all attribute information and bar codes
  • Scan sketches into dynamics
  • Send Purchase Orders and tickets to suppliers

  • Manage press sample ordering and handover liaising with press. Ensuring that all samples/hero pieces are ready for handover deadlines. To be able to suggest sub samples where correct samples unavailable and to escalate any issues to your line manager.
  • To take ownership over preparation for meetings as directed by team (pressing, correct hangers, sub samples/sketches/swatches etc)
  • Dynamics management – to process all of departments purchase orders, product set-up, suppler set-up, emailing PO’s and housekeeping. To obtain line manager’s sign off for PO’s in good time for ordering of epos and emailing PO’s
  • To file, store and be responsible for the whereabouts of all buying boards

In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running of our social media content and campaigns.   • Creative and visuals for social media and web including copy, graphics and photography.
  • Work with PR to identify guest editors and fashion writers to get a regular fresh injection of content into our social media channels.
  • Identify newsworthy stories from around the business that will make for relevant content for the Jigsaw Group websites and social media channels, adding weight and authority to the Jigsaw brand.
  • Dedicate sufficient time to nurturing the Jigsaw community, engaging in conversation, responding to comments and promoting relevant content.
  • Work with customer services to respond to customer feedback directly on our social media channels, managing any negativity and reporting any issues or trends that arise. (Please note this feedback could arise and need managing out of normal office hours).
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to deliver the social media strategy, implementing it through the key channels (Please note these chennels may increase/decrease from time to time).
  • Act as a conduit between all areas of the business where social media plays a role – promoting our brand social media channels and getting staff involved.
  • Work closely with the online team in order to maximise social commerce opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Social Media Manager to populate and circulate a social media content calendar, ensuring all activity is in line with the marketing critical path.
  • Work with the Social Media Manager and other internal stakeholders to plan video activities for the Jigsaw YouTube channel.
  • Develop and implement new initiatives to grow the number of fans and followers on our social networks whilst maintaining a highly engaged community.
  • Keep track of social media statistics month on month, as per the Social media Strategy objectives.

  • Proactive, energetic individual with excellent communication skills
  • Able to produce engaging copy and content for the Jigsaw audience
  • Good technical understanding, with image editing skills i.e. Photoshop
  • An understanding of major social media channels as well as the Jigsaw brand
  • Good organisational skills and flexible nature to juggle multiple projects
