In 2008 Jigsaw embarked on a journey to implement MS Dynamics NAV and today supports over 200 users/devices spanning Finance, Payroll, Merchandising, Warehousing, Stock Control and Point of Sale. We are currently operating MS Dynamics NAV 2009 Classic on a Windows Server 2003 / SQL Server 2005 platform but have exciting plans to upgrade to 2013 RTC, Windows Server 2012 and SQL 2014 over the next 18 months and so there’s no shortage of things to do.

  • Simply put, the aim of this role is to help the business & our users to get the most out of our MS Dynamics NAV system and includes the following key responsibilities:
  • System Administration
  • Monitor & report on system performance
  • Check scheduled & EDI services are running successfully
  • System Support
  • Map, optimise & document operational system processes
  • Train & deliver 1st level MS Dynamics NAV support to head office & remote users
  • Log & progress 2nd level support issues with Simark
  • System Development
  • Interpret user requirements & convert to technical development specifications
  • Prioritise requests in accordance with business objectives & cost benefit
  • Undertake beta testing and support User Acceptance Testing
  • Liaise with MS Dynamics partner in the planning & delivery of more complex development projects


  • Effective communicator able to work in a non-technical user environment
  • Ability to understand & document business requirements and deliver applicable solutions
  • Attention to detail and an able to work well under pressure both as part of the team and on own initiative
  • Ability to manage workload and competing demands
  • Resourceful, energetic and enthusiastic, prepared to go the “extra mile”
  • 5+ years MS Dynamics NAV experience
  • End user support experience
  • MS Dynamics NAV Finance, Warehousing, Stock Control & LS Retail
  • Knowledge of Pebblestone and Miracle Dynamics an advantage
  • Appreciation of Windows Server & SQL database environments
  • Use of business intelligence tools such as SSRS , Targitnet, Jet Reports, etc. an advantage

We are looking for an Accessories Designer with a clear and distinct focus and specialism around Bags and Small Leather products to assist the Design Director across all areas of Jigsaw Accessories.

  • To design exclusive product with a high level of detail and range attributes, finished to a high quality in accordance within the agreed price point and option plan.
  • To produce a detailed design pack to be sent to suppliers which includes: detailed sketch, trims, artwork and make and measurement information with enough accuracy to ensure 1st sample is to a high standard
  • To take responsibility for the range of 1st samples, liaising with the supplier to create first samples at workable prices, review first samples with the team and jointly agree on the final range
  • To develop an awareness of what is / isn’t selling and to build this information into future plans including reviewing the previous seasons category build up and fix new percentages for the next season
  • Develops an awareness of Brand competition providing updates as required
  • To influence the on trend buying direction ensuring key fashion looks/ colours/ fabrics etc are covered and that the store collection is a reflection of the entire range
  • Regularly meets with Brand, Design and Buying teams to discuss trends
  • Works with Product Director, Buying team, brand, stores and VM to produce VM guidelines promoting key looks and destination shopping making it easier for the customer to shop
  • Presents key trends and product information to store based teams in Season Preview meetings

We are looking for a Group Tax Manager (maternity cover) to work closely with the Finance Director and the Chairman. The Group Tax Manager will take responsibility for the compliance of the Group’s UK corporation tax obligations and strategic tax planning. This role is 3 days per week. The role also includes some Company Secretarial duties and/or Trustee duties of Jigsaw’s Beneficial (charitable) Trust and the JGR Pension Scheme. Successful candidates will have a real interest in Fashion and may even be working within a retail environment already. Above all we need someone who is great at what they do and who can work well as part of a vibrant team to achieve all deadlines. They need to be proactive, with a strong compliance background covering Corporation tax, VAT and employment taxes.

  • Managing compliance of the Group’s UK corporation tax obligations (e.g. preparation of tax returns, quarterly instalment payments, dealing promptly and effectively with HMRC enquiries)
  • Strategic tax planning for the group. Identifying and implementing planning opportunities that minimise the group’s tax liabilities
  • Ensuring robust processes and controls are maintained in respect of UK tax compliance.
  • Managing the Group’s tax financial reporting obligations e.g. year end reporting.
  • Monitoring and managing tax risks.
  • Providing practical and timely advice on the tax impact of specific business transactions
  • Liaison with HMRC across all taxes with regards to compliance and areas of uncertainty to ensure the most efficient tax treatment (corporate tax, VAT, employment taxes, SDLT)
  • To support the Chairman by performing company secretarial duties (e.g. submission of annual returns)


  • Be a qualified accountant with significant PQE experience
  • Be a competent user of One Source
  • Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Be a proactive self-starter
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to advise on/discuss matters from Board to junior level
