In 2008 Jigsaw embarked on a journey to implement MS Dynamics NAV and today supports over 200 users/devices spanning Finance, Payroll, Merchandising, Warehousing, Stock Control and Point of Sale. We are currently operating MS Dynamics NAV 2009 Classic on a Windows Server 2003 / SQL Server 2005 platform but have exciting plans to upgrade to 2013 RTC, Windows Server 2012 and SQL 2014 over the next 18 months and so there’s no shortage of things to do.

  • Simply put, the aim of this role is to help the business & our users to get the most out of our MS Dynamics NAV system and includes the following key responsibilities:
  • System Administration
  • Monitor & report on system performance
  • Check scheduled & EDI services are running successfully
  • System Support
  • Map, optimise & document operational system processes
  • Train & deliver 1st level MS Dynamics NAV support to head office & remote users
  • Log & progress 2nd level support issues with Simark
  • System Development
  • Interpret user requirements & convert to technical development specifications
  • Prioritise requests in accordance with business objectives & cost benefit
  • Undertake beta testing and support User Acceptance Testing
  • Liaise with MS Dynamics partner in the planning & delivery of more complex development projects


  • Effective communicator able to work in a non-technical user environment
  • Ability to understand & document business requirements and deliver applicable solutions
  • Attention to detail and an able to work well under pressure both as part of the team and on own initiative
  • Ability to manage workload and competing demands
  • Resourceful, energetic and enthusiastic, prepared to go the “extra mile”
  • 5+ years MS Dynamics NAV experience
  • End user support experience
  • MS Dynamics NAV Finance, Warehousing, Stock Control & LS Retail
  • Knowledge of Pebblestone and Miracle Dynamics an advantage
  • Appreciation of Windows Server & SQL database environments
  • Use of business intelligence tools such as SSRS , Targitnet, Jet Reports, etc. an advantage

We are looking for a Merchandiser to manage the day to day merchandising functions for our Accessories and Junior lines. In this role you will be integral in planning and developing a strategy to produce a range that delivers Jigsaw’s sales budget and profit target. You will take responsible for ensuring that products appear in the right store at the appropriate time in the correct quantities and work closely with the buying team to deliver a balanced range. Successful candidates will have a real interest in Fashion and may even be working within a retail environment already. Above all we need someone who is great at what they do and who can work well as part of a vibrant team to achieve all deadlines.

  • Planning Product Ranges and preparing stock and sales plans in conjunction with the Buying and Product Directors.
  • Present and talk through product performance in Trade Meetings.
  • Option planning , Grading and Buy Quantities
  • Update WSSI's.
  • Manage Line Cards on Essential Styles
  • Maintain a comprehensive Library of analysis data (including but not limited to stock and sales, markdowns and promotions).
  • Oversee the Buy Budget and manage OTB
  • Analyse every aspect of bestsellers- including price point, colour and size.
  • Competitor Analysis – regular store visits to help influence the range
  • Ensure trading on relevant covers and phasing intake appropriately
  • Maximise sell through on each budget group and advise actions in trade meetings.

We are looking for a Menswear Garment Technologist and a Multiproduct Garment Technologist to join the Jigsaw Group.

  • Work alongside Design and buying teams, playing an integral role in the development process providing accurate technical information for all new style developments and ensuring that the garments are to the Jigsaw standard.
  • Clear communication with suppliers and team, building professional business relationships
  • To adhere to critical path dates and deadlines.
  • To attend fit sessions and follow through with clear, concise, consistent fit comments including diagrams/ photographs.
  • To liaise with the buying team where alterations or comments affect the price, quantity or the critical path.
  • To communicate specifications and amendments and size charts to the suppliers in a clear and understandable language both written and visual.
  • Garment testing, and wash care approval and sign off prior to production.
  • Approval of pre-production and production samples to ensure highest commercial standard.
  • Advise Production Manager/ Buyer and immediately should any critical problems arrive during either the sampling or production process
  • Factory visits as required to implement and monitor product and quality standards and critical path.
  • Quality inspection of all pre-shipped samples.
  • Responsibility for the supply base achieving and maintaining a quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Responsibilities for collating technical and quality control feedback from customers/stores/web feedback.


  • Excellent level of communication and negotiation skills
  • Time management of own daily schedule as well as the critical path

  • Full understanding of the industry and factory setup
  • Fashion Design or Fashion Technical Degree

We are looking for an Accessories Designer with a clear and distinct focus and specialism around Bags and Small Leather products to assist the Design Director across all areas of Jigsaw Accessories.

  • To design exclusive product with a high level of detail and range attributes, finished to a high quality in accordance within the agreed price point and option plan.
  • To produce a detailed design pack to be sent to suppliers which includes: detailed sketch, trims, artwork and make and measurement information with enough accuracy to ensure 1st sample is to a high standard
  • To take responsibility for the range of 1st samples, liaising with the supplier to create first samples at workable prices, review first samples with the team and jointly agree on the final range
  • To develop an awareness of what is / isn’t selling and to build this information into future plans including reviewing the previous seasons category build up and fix new percentages for the next season
  • Develops an awareness of Brand competition providing updates as required
  • To influence the on trend buying direction ensuring key fashion looks/ colours/ fabrics etc are covered and that the store collection is a reflection of the entire range
  • Regularly meets with Brand, Design and Buying teams to discuss trends
  • Works with Product Director, Buying team, brand, stores and VM to produce VM guidelines promoting key looks and destination shopping making it easier for the customer to shop
  • Presents key trends and product information to store based teams in Season Preview meetings
  • Undertakes research trips overseas, buying suitable samples for use in range development
  • Develops professional relationships with other team members to ensure optimal communication, efficiency and productivity

  • Contribute to research for the theme, fabric and colour for the collection in its entirety at the start of the season.
  • Assist Head of as required across the collection in order to help team meet critical deadlines.
  • Assisting with general development of the collection.
  • Contribute ideas for other areas and assist in compilation of tech packs on excel to meet critical path deadlines.
  • CADING up designs for presentations (using illustrator and photoshop).
  • Ongoing research and design essential: to be balanced alongside daily Design tasks: Continual awareness of key competitors; of their product offering and price points highlighting opportunities to the Product Director.
  • Up to date with best and worst sellers and overall brand season-to-date performance so that new season designs immediately take into account any overriding customer feedback, business opportunities and risks.
  • Participate in discussions as to how we can constantly drive the brand forward and improve our offering.
  • Be present in all fittings of collections.
  • Work closely with the garment technologist to establish a consistent commercial fit.
