We are looking for a systems savvy qualified accountant for this 12-month fixed term role within the Finance team. This role will be vital in the financial and budgetary control for all subsidiaries in the business. Responsibilities include preparation of monthly management accounts, and budgeting/forecasting. This role will also be key in systems development identifying improvements in processes, profit, working capital, and be active in their implementation.

Causing visual impact, stimulating and motivating the customer to spend more money in our stores are important factors which contribute towards the success of the Jigsaw Brand. We are looking for a Visual Merchandiser on a maternity cover basis to present the Jigsaw collection each season in such a way that it gives a strong clear brand image, is appealing, commercial, desirable and persuades our customers to buy. The role will involve travelling to Jigsaw stores across the country on a daily basis.

Successful candidates will have a real interest in Fashion and may even be working within a retail environment already. Above all we need someone who is great at what they do and who can work well as part of a vibrant team to achieve all deadlines.

  • Translate viable VM solutions to all Jigsaw Stores nationwide, within Womenswear, Accessories & Junior
  • Train staff within stores on VM standards
  • Working closely with the VM Manager and Head of Windows & VM to communicate any problems that may arise and help to resolve them
  • Communicate directly with each Store Manager to explain the process of each floor move
  • Liaise with Display team to integrate with current window scheme's & dressing
  • Involvement in the setup of various events each season i.e. Press Day & Managers Meeting, New Store Openings
  • Ensure minimal disruption to a store whilst carrying out a floor move
  • Be organised and meet time lines to successfully carry out a floor move as efficiently and effectively as possible

The Shop
at Bluebird

We are currently looking for a Buy Admin Assistant to join our Shop at Bluebird team. This role will provide administration support to the Buying function by managing the purchase order system, critical path and product management and storage. The role largely focuses on setting up styles within Dynamics, ensuring product information, tickets and prices are correct.

The ideal candidate will have a qualification in buying as well as previous hands on buying and/or retail experience. You should have strong analytical, numerical and IT skills as well as exceptional team working skills. The candidate must be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise.

  • Create product style numbers with all attribute information and bar codes
  • Scan sketches into dynamics
  • Send Purchase Orders and tickets to suppliers
  • To order in good time any additional samples required for meetings such as best sellers, stock to store, swots, range reviews, rack-ups and retail presentations where the entire range is to be represented
  • Manage press sample ordering and handover liaising with press. Ensuring that all samples/hero pieces are ready for handover deadlines. To be able to suggest sub samples where correct samples unavailable and to escalate any issues to your line manager.
  • To take ownership over preparation for meetings as directed by team (pressing, correct hangers, sub samples/sketches/swatches etc)
  • Dynamics management – to process all of departments purchase orders, product set-up, suppler set-up, emailing PO’s and housekeeping. To obtain line manager’s sign off for PO’s in good time for ordering of epos and emailing PO’s
  • To file, store and be responsible for the whereabouts of all buying boards
  • Archive digital press cuttings and circulate good press coverage internally
  • Sending of packaging instructions and manuals to new suppliers
  • Manages courier parcels, sending and receipt

We are looking for a Business Development Coordinator to assist in managing the day to day running and coordination of the International Franchise and New Business Development department. A key part of the role will be to research and evaluate new business opportunities. In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running of our social media content and campaigns.   • Creative and visuals for social media and web including copy, graphics and photography.
  • Work with PR to identify guest editors and fashion writers to get a regular fresh injection of content into our social media channels.
  • Identify newsworthy stories from around the business that will make for relevant content for the Jigsaw Group websites and social media channels, adding weight and authority to the Jigsaw brand.
  • Dedicate sufficient time to nurturing the Jigsaw community, engaging in conversation, responding to comments and promoting relevant content.
  • Work with customer services to respond to customer feedback directly on our social media channels, managing any negativity and reporting any issues or trends that arise. (Please note this feedback could arise and need managing out of normal office hours).
  • Work with the Social Media Manager to deliver the social media strategy, implementing it through the key channels (Please note these chennels may increase/decrease from time to time).
  • Act as a conduit between all areas of the business where social media plays a role – promoting our brand social media channels and getting staff involved.
  • Work closely with the online team in order to maximise social commerce opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Social Media Manager to populate and circulate a social media content calendar, ensuring all activity is in line with the marketing critical path.
  • Work with the Social Media Manager and other internal stakeholders to plan video activities for the Jigsaw YouTube channel.
  • Develop and implement new initiatives to grow the number of fans and followers on our social networks whilst maintaining a highly engaged community.
  • Keep track of social media statistics month on month, as per the Social media Strategy objectives.

  • Proactive, energetic individual with excellent communication skills
  • Able to produce engaging copy and content for the Jigsaw audience
  • Good technical understanding, with image editing skills i.e. Photoshop
  • An understanding of major social media channels as well as the Jigsaw brand
  • Good organisational skills and flexible nature to juggle multiple projects
