Jigsaw has its own designers in Kew, west London, comprising womenswear, accessories and childrenswear teams. Our in-house designers are supplemented by freelance designers and stylists. We are constantly working on the collections, producing two principal ranges a year, which sub-divide loosely into six key elements: Autumn, Winter, Christmas, Spring, High Summer and late Summer. Jigsaw delivers new stock to its branches weekly, allowing the ranges to evolve constantly, ensuring our shops remain fresh and visually exciting.
Some of each range comprises classics that Jigsaw has produced for years, although interpreted in colours and materials of the moment. Others parts of a range are more directional and will only be seen in a single Season. The bulk of the collection is manufactured in Europe and the Far East. Jigsaw owns its own manufacturing subsidiaries in both regions allowing us to work within tight time frames, providing customers with the most up to date looks.
Jigsaw footwear and bags are manufactured mainly in Italy and Spain, using the finest materials, usually high quality leather. Jigsaw belts are manufactured in Italy, with some more artisan-crafted pieces made in Asia. Scarves, gloves and hats are made in the Far East and Europe. Lingerie and swimwear is manufactured in Italy and UK. Our jewellery has been sourced from Europe, India and Mexico.
In September 2003, the company launched a new brand, Kew, which is not available at Jigsaw stores. Kew is, however, available from its own e-commerce site at www.kew-online.com
Jigsaw Junior produces two principal ranges annually, manufactured primarily in the UK and Far East. Designed in-house, the range manages to be "acceptable to both daughter and mother", providing an eclectic mix of classic pieces with a twist and special pieces that enhance a more basic look.
back to topThe Jigsaw shopping experience is completed by our distinctive shopfits, knowledgeable and friendly staff, and visually stimulating windows and presentation. Each one of our branches is different, from the cool minimalism of New Bond Street to the classic elegance of the Chapel on Kings Road or the Triangle in Manchester, the industrial finish of Birmingham, the village groove of London's Westbourne Grove to the clean lines of Santa Monica. Inside each shop, customers will find staff who are encouraged to let their personalities shine through, not to suppress them to some corporate image. Shopping at Jigsaw should never feel like just another 'high street experience'.
