Menswear Merchandiser - 6 month FTC

Jigsaw is a British company that has been involved in the design, manufacturing and retailing of clothes and accessories for over thirty-five years. The first Menswear collection launched in 1994, however after a 10 year hiatus is set to relaunch Menswear for Spring 12. Jigsaw is the trading name of Robinson Webster (Holdings) Limited. In addition to Jigsaw Menswear and Womenswear, the group includes the well-known brand Kew, which also operates stores across the UK; The Shop at Bluebird, offering a cool and unique collection of women’s and men’s designer brands on London’s King's Road; and finally, the quintessentially English Cabbages & Roses.

We are always interested in passionate, motivated and entrepreneurial people to join our growing and exciting close-knit business and this is an opportunity unlike others…to join the team for this new venture in relaunching Menswear for Spring 12.
An exciting opportunity for a Menswear Merchandiser, on a 6-month Fixed term contract has now become available at our Head Office.

Successful candidates will have a real love for Menswear Fashion and may even be working within a luxury Menswear fashion environment already. Above all we need someone who is great at what they do and who can work well as part of a vibrant team to achieve all deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be:
• Able to perform under pressure
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-channel environment
• Highly organised
• Able to understand and analyse sales figures
• Able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external contacts

Skills required
• Computer literate, particularly with experience of Excel
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Previous experience within a Menswear retail environment in a merchandising division
