Spring Summer Shoes

Who better to pick their favourite shoes from our collection this season than the people responsible for creating them? Here, our accessories team tell us which pairs they’ll be wearing this summer and why…

MILA COURT SHOE

The Mila Court Shoe in black. It’s a great everyday smart shoe that can be worn with everything. The light wooden heel is great for spring and summer and the upper is a lovely soft suede that’s very comfortable. I’ll be wearing mine with skinny jeans and a pretty blouse for work or a lazy lunch with friends.

BRITTA BUCKLE DETAIL SANDAL

The perfect heeled sandal with an easy block heel, great for occasions or the everyday. Made from Portuguese nubuck leather, they’re also super comfy with a flattering buckle strap detail. They’re the perfect workwear shoe to wear with wide leg trousers.

MAYA CROSSOVER SANDAL

My favourite shoe from the Spring Summer collection is the Maya Crossover Sandal.  In fact, I’ve been wearing mine practically every day since I bought them. I love the crossover design and the gold hardware details, and the premium moulded sole is so comfortable, making them perfect for the everyday. I actually have them in both colours… the grey nubuck is perfect for the daytime and I wear the calf hair in the evening for a dressier feel.

MAKA STRIPE TRAINER

I may be biased on this one as I actually found Yaiza (the founder of Maka) on Instagram and have worked on the collaboration from fruition through to the final product. But I love the Maka Stripe Trainer. It’s a contemporary, cool shoe using a unique fabric woven by Columbian artisans. The monochrome pattern makes them easy to wear, whilst the neon adds a bit more fun. Plus the flatform gives me height whilst still being comfortable. I’ll be wearing mine on the pavements of London with black jeans and a T-shirt.. it’s all about the urban staycation this summer.

NAYA BLOCK HEEL ESPADRILLE

It’s all about the Naya Espadrille in silver this season. A modern take on the classic espadrille, it has a comfortable heel height that can be worn all day. I’m wearing them to work; during weekends in London; on holiday… everywhere basically.

INGRID SLIDER

My favourite shoe is the Ingrid in black – I love how effortless they look. The stitch detail feels artisanal, plus they’re super comfortable which means I can get from A to B without blisters forming. I’ll be wearing mine with our white Hoxton jeans and a cotton T-shirt this summer, then they are coming to Marbella with me so I can wear them around the pool or on the beach!

FLORRIE HEELED ESPADRILLE

The mid-height wedge on the Florrie Espadrille makes them so comfortable to wear all day. I truly believe that espadrilles are the easiest way to update an outfit for summer, plus the metallic colours makes them so versatile for day to night. I’d wear the silver pair with our Hoxton Crop Flare Jean and the black Rib Square Neck Tank.
