A seasonless wardrobe

We speak to Sinead Crowe, fashion and lifestyle blogger of Love Style Mindfulness, about how she’ll transform our Pre-Collection pieces from winter to spring for the ultimate transitional wardrobe

9th January 2017

My style is all about simplicity and I’m forever buying with the perfect capsule and seasonless wardrobe in mind. I love the way that whilst working together right now, each of these pieces will look just as good in six months’ time.

So first, let’s talk about colour. There’s nothing I love more than a tonal look (except maybe jeans and a T-shirt) and I think the silver with the grey really adds a finishing touch.

This coat is super roomy so I’ll be packing on the layers in the next couple of weeks. I love that it’s also lightweight so won’t be too hot for the spring. It’s pretty much an any weather coat.

I’d actually wear this exact look without jeans when it’s warm enough to brave the cold or even with some sandals when it’s not quite warm enough for the whole leg.

I had to get this knit when I saw it because of the pattern. I usually keep my pieces really simple and shy away from prints but I think this one’s pretty safe and isn’t going to go out of style any time soon so it passes my “wardrobe staple” entry test. I’ll be wearing it through spring and into summer as a light layer with some denim shorts.

Lastly I have to talk about this bag which I’ve taken upon myself to rename the Mary Poppins bag. At the time of shooting I had a purse, a card holder, a spare camera lens, a portable battery pack, an iPhone cable, car keys, make-up and iPhone in this bag… that is some going for a small bag.
